Welcome to Amelia Warner Web, your number one and largest source for British actress Amelia Warner.
You may have seen Amelia in such films as Quills, Lorna Doone, The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, and Aeon Flux.
She stars in the upcoming horror movie The Echo. Feel free to look around and please check back soon. Thank you for visiting!
I apologize for the lack of updates. We lack Amelia news, yes, as well as news about The Echo, but I have more screen captures from Gone to add! However, I have a problem with the DVD playing on certain computers in order to make screen captures. I have found a way around it, but I will need to find time.
First of all, another thanks to Gina for making this possible! I finally got my Gone DVD to work on a computer. I started capping it and uploaded the Making Of featurette. I will try and get captures from the movie soon. As for news about The Echo, I have yet to hear any. I will post as soon as I do!
I added screen captures from the Alpha Male DVD. I thought Amelia was so good in this. Her performance was heartbreaking. Again, thanks to Gina! Click on the previews below to go to the gallery.
Thank you to kahiina, we have two photoshoot images. They look like they might be from the Edinburgh Film Festival in 2005. What do you think? I also added three watermarked stills from The Seeker.
First of all, a very special thank you to Gina for sending me a few Amelia movies for the site. It was very nice of her and now I can add lots of new screen captures and videos to the site.
First up, I screencapped the DVD for Love’s Brother. The movie, which came out in 2004, stars Amelia as the lovely Rosetta. I enjoyed the movie. I thought it was very warm and uplifting and recommend it to anyone who enjoys movies like Chocolat or La Vita E Bella (the only two I could think of!). I will try to get video clips up soon. For now, though, there are lots of screencaps! I also made captures from the interview Amelia did for the DVD, as well as the DVD Making Of featurette.
Thank you to prettygenes for providing us with the picture mentioned earlier of Amelia attending a Lucian Freud event in June. The picture is now in the gallery!
I finally added video clips from the pilot of Waking the Dead. Not all of the scenes with Amelia are there, but the significant ones are! There seven in total. Again, they are in .avi format, so please let me know if you have any problems downloading or viewing them properly. Thank you.
Hello, everyone. Thank you to gina, Stephanie, and Appreciating Amelia Warner for letting us know about a music video called “Everything is Borrowed” that Amelia starred in for The Streets. She also wrote music for an Orange commercial entitled “Rewind.” You can view the music video here on Youtube, as well as the commercial. I added screen captures from the video to the gallery.
Hello, everyone. I apologize for the lack of updates, but things have been really quiet in the Amelia world. I went looking for new images and found a slightly different picture of the the one picture we already have of Amelia in Falling Slowly, a short film. It seems the pictures are the same, though, save the new one is flipped, bigger, and a different colour! Oh, well.
There are a few new reviews for The Echo, which has yet to get a release date. The Inquirer mentions some of these reviews.
So far, the Internet film reviewers, whose importance is growing, especially in getting the word out about horror/thriller genre movies, are sounding very enthusiastic. The words used by critics to sum up their verdict on the movie, which stars Jesse Bradford, the Philippines’ Iza Calzado (who reprises her role), Amelia Warner, Kevin Durand, Louise Linton, Carlos Leon and Pruitt Taylor Vince, range from “beautiful… very solid” to “cleverly done.”
Thank you to kahiina for informing me that Amelia attended a new event in June, the exclusive VIP Lucian Freud Private View in London, England. You can see the image in its thumbnail form here. If anyone can get a larger, non-watermarked size, I would greatly appreciate it. If not, I will try my best when I get home from vacation.
